| Ronda Banks brings previous experience as the Customer Service Manager at our Meadows location to her role as property manager. Before joining Mount Vernon Property Management, Ronda worked previously in property management, customer service, and extensively in the mortgage lending industry. Ronda is the 2013 Treasurer for the Sarasota / Bradenton chapter of NARPM® and is currently working towards her Residential Manager Professional designation. Ronda handles both seasonal and annual rentals. | |||

Don Herman has over 50 years of leadership experience in the field of residential real estate, having built successful, dominant full-service brokerage brands in both the Western New York and Sarasota, Florida markets. Don has built a reputation for honesty, integrity, and commitment in his various business ventures as well as his community efforts. Born in Buffalo, NY, Don graduated from the University of Buffalo (UB) with a B.S. in Business Administration in 1957 after having completed two years service in the US Army. In 1985, Don became the founder and managing stockholder of Mount Vernon Realty Co., Inc. and achieved dominant sales-market share for the firm by 1989, offering residential and commercial real estate sales, residential property management, and adding community association management in 1995. In 2002, Don spun out Mount Vernon Realty’s successful property management division as its own company, Mount Vernon Property Management, Inc. In 2007, Don’s daughter, Jennifer L. Herman became the owner and managing broker of Mount Vernon Property Management, Inc. Don is a licensed Community Association Manager who has earned the designation of CMCA (Certified Community Association Manager). In 2009, Don received a Realtor Emeritus award for over 50 years of real estate brokerage service from the National Association of Realtors. He is a member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) and the Community Associations Institute. |

| Jennifer Herman has worked in residential real estate since 2005 when she left her career in higher education administration to join her father, F. Donald Herman, in his 3 Sarasota real estate businesses: ERA Mount Vernon Realty Co., Inc, Mount Vernon Property Management, Inc., and Sarasota Referral Associates, Inc. Jennifer became the Broker and President of Mount Vernon Property Management, Inc. in 2007 and a majority shareholder in 2008. Jennifer graduated from Sarasota’s Pine View School in 1991. In 1995, she graduated with Honors from Vassar College with a Bachelor’s degree in both French and German Studies. She completed her M.S.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University-Bloomington in 1999 and has held various positions in higher education administration around the country, most recently at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Jennifer is a member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), the National Association of Realtors®, the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance, and the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce. She proudly serves a second term as the NARPM Sarasota-Bradenton Chapter President (2012, 2013). She has also served a term as a member of the Small Business Council for the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce (2011-2012). Jennifer is currently a candidate for the Residential Management Professional (RMP) designation from the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM®), the professional, educational, and ethical leader for the residential property management industry. Jennifer strives to further develop Mount Vernon Property Management’s long reputation for quality service in the Sarasota metro area through constant evaluation, use of technology, and a strong customer-service orientation. | |||

Ray Shope brings 20 years of resort-hotel management and property management experience to his role as a property manager at our Meadows location. Among Ray's accomplishments is the design and implementation of a rental program in a full-service condo hotel. Ray handles both annual and seasonal rentals in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Ray has also served as a licensed Community Association Manager. |
